Redondo Beach is located in the southwest of Los Angeles
County. The beach used to be a fishery harbor but the
business died down in 1980s. It is a great place for
swimming, surfing, and windsurfing and the
horseshoe-shaped pier is good for fishing and has many
restaurants and shops. The primary attractions include Municipal Pier and the sandy beach, popular with tourists and a variety of sports enthusiasts. The western terminus of the Metro Rail Green Line is in North Redondo Beach. |
