ผู้ทำชอบ ฟังเพลงมา ตั้งแต่เด็ก  จำความได้ก้อได้ยินแต่เสียงเพลง   เนื่องจากผู้ทำมีพื้นเพ เป็นคนจีน  ดังนั้น เพลงที่ว่าได้ยินนั้นจึงเป็น ... เพลงจีน   แต่เรื่องตลกคือ ภาษาจีนของผู้ให้กำเนิดนั้นผู้ทำไม่เคยมีความสามารถเรียน ได้    ผู้ฟังชอบฟังเพลงภาษาจีน  ปัจจุบันก้อยังฟังอยู่ทั้งๆ ที่ตัวเองไม่เข้าใจ   อาทิเช่น เพลงจอมใจจักรพรรดิ์ที่ชอบในเว็บภาษาจีน นี้

ต่อมาเมื่อ อายุได้ 9 ขวบก้อได้ยินเพลงภาษาอังกฤษจากวิทยุ  ชอบมากทั้งๆ ที่ไม่รู้เรื่องเลย  จำได้ไม่เคยลิมแม้ในปัจจุบันว่าเพลงนั้นคือ เพลง Yesterday Once More ของ Carpenters    จำได้แต่ว่าในตอนนั้น ไม่ว่าหมุนคลื่นไปช่องวิทยุไหน ๆ ก้อได้ยินแต่เพลงฝรั่ง

ด้วยความ เป็นเด็ก ผู้ทำไม่รู้ด้วยซ้ำว่าในขณะนั้น เป็นช่วงสงครามเวียดนาม  ประเทศไทยกำลังต่อสู้กับคอมมิวนิสต์  รายการวิทยุที่เป็นเพลงภาษาอังกฤษนั้นคงเปิดให้ทหารอเมริกันในฐานทัพสหรัฐใน ประเทศไทยฟัง  นอกจากนั้น ยังจำได้ว่า  เมื่อใดก้อตามที่ไปถนนสุขุมวิทหรือถนนเพชรบุรี ก้อจะเห็นฝรั่งผมทองเต็มไปหมด     มารู้ในภายหลังเมื่อโตมากๆแล้วว่า  ทหารสหรัฐที่สู้รบในสงครามเวียดนามจะบินมาพักในเมืองไทย  พวกเธอเหล่านั้นคงเป็นครอบครัวของทหารสหรัฐที่อยู่ในฐานทัพ ที่เวียดนามและไทยนั่นเอง   เธอมาเยี่ยมญาติ

และความชอบเพลงภาษาอังกฤษนำ ผู้ทำให้ เรียนจบปริญญาตรีและโท ด้านภาษาอังกฤษในที่สุด

ในโอกาสนี้ ขอขอบพระคุณคุณครู และอาจารย์ภาษาอังกฤษทุกท่านที่ช่วยทำให้ผู้ทำประสบความสำเร็จด้านการเรียน ภาษาอังกฤษ

คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับประถม (English Vocabulary Builder) จัด ทำโดย  โรงเรียนศรีวิทยาปากน้ำ สมุทรปราการ ประเทศไทย   เพื่อฝึกทบทวนคำศัพท์ในหัวข้อต่างๆ เช่น สี วัน ครอบครัว อาหาร บ้าน อาชีพ ความรู้สึก ร่างกาย กิจกรรม สถานที่ สภาพอากาศ และอื่นๆ

The writer of this web site has liked music since childhood. Because of having Chinese origin, those songs were .. of course .. Chinese. But the writer has failed to grasp Chinese, the language of the parents. Even unable to understand it, the writer still loves to listen to Chinese songs like XiFeng from the movie the Kingdom and the Beauty.

When 9 years old, the writer happened to hear an English song from radio and liked it though not understanding it all. That song was the Carpenters' Yesterday Once More. At that time the song was played on various channels; and most FM radio channels often tuned out English songs.

Being just a kid at the time, the writer did not know that it was the time of Vietnam War and Thailand was fighting against communism. The radio programs might have played English songs for the American soldiers in the US military bases in Thailand. The wrtier remembered that there were plenty of blonde Westerners on Sukhumvit or Petchburi Road. Those might have come to Thailand to visit their soldier relatives based in Thailand and Vietnam.

The favor for English songs led the writer to graduate with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in English eventually.

On this Occasion, the writer would like to express sincere gratitude to all of the English instructors who extended helps during the studies that brought the writer to graduation success.
